OUR NEXT WORKFORCE INDUSTRY MEETUP
In addition to the annual conference, NY Workforce Connect hosts evening interactive meetups throughout the year to bring together workforce industry professionals for insightful perspectives via a panel discussion and open networking.
Next up, we'll host a meetup event in the Rochester/WNY region on Thursday, April 16 from 5-7 p.m. at the Finger Lakes Workforce Development (FWD) Center, powered by Monroe Community College. This evening event will feature open networking and an interactive discussion about workforce development initiatives.

Your ticket provides you with a light appetizers, networking with workforce industry professionals, and full access to our panel conversation. There will also be an optional tour of the facility for attendees, which offers rapid training and upskilling programs to meet the need of local employers.​​

Parking details:
​Free parking is available in the parking lot across the street from the entrance to the downtown campus. Use the following address in your GPS to park in that lot: 121 Morrie Silver Way, Rochester, NY 14605. There will be a parking attendant in the lot to verify you are with the event. Please show your event ticket upon entering the parking area to park for free in the lot. Additional paid parking is available in the nearby High Falls Parking Garage. Please note that there is a Rochester Red Wings home game the evening of 4/16; an increase in traffic is expected in the area.

This panel will explore how the Rochester optics industry experience workforce success by shifting to a model of deep industry ownership and collaboration.
